Darning needles are popular for winding knots and loop stitches, for woven stitches, drizzles and trellis, for basting and connecting many layers of fabric. Size1, 15 and 17 are suitable for strong thread, e.g. Pearl Cotton 3 and 5 or Soft Cotton.
