Things worth knowing about hand embroidery

On these pages you will find interesting facts about hand embroidery and information about House of Textile Arts.

The right knowledge will help you to implement your own ideas in embroidery and other textile techniques and to enjoy your projects even more.

We’ll continue to work on the site until we think, well, that’s enough for now… but we’ll certainly keep coming up with something even then!

If you still want to know more… no problem! As soon as the little beast called Corona finally retreats to nowhere, you can get information from other embroidery enthusiasts in the regional groups of the German Embroidery Guild. Or book local courses at the International School for Textile Arts. The ISTA correspondence courses can of course be booked “virus-free” at any time.

We’ll be happy to answer simple questions by email or at one of the events we’re attending… once they’re allowed to take place again.
