The good old sewing needle we all know for all occasions. Many strengths, many lengths, many uses!
The needles have a straight shape, a pointed tip and a short, elongated eye. They have a constant thickness between the eye and the point. Their field of application is mainly for working on a canvas fabric, as is so common in sewing. They make a hole in the fabric that exactly matches the thickness of the working thread, thus helping it to fit perfectly. Of course, the finished project also benefits from this!
Weiss embroiderers swear by this needle because the short eye protects the very often used and somewhat delicate quad yarn very well.
On countable embroidery grounds they are mainly used for borders.
